Blackbird will be performing at Jerry’s Wicker Park on Saturday, May 29, 2010 beginning at 10:00pm.
We will be playing two great sets of Beatles songs from 10pm to 1am. Jerry’s is known for their great food so be sure to have a bite to eat during the show (it’s the only way we get paid!).
Admittance is free.

“Eat With The Beatles” is a weekly dinner and music gig we are working on. Dates and venue to be announced.
Thanks to all that braved the ice storm last night and came to check us out at The Circle.
The show went great and we played some great Beatles tunes.
We did have a couple of volume issues because Ray is such a beast on the drums, but the intimate surroundings gave way to some soulful tunes.
Mario’s new Hofner bass was a hit, and Lou had no choice but to pull the big brother card out and steal it for a couple songs.
Chris did a great solo job playing McCartney’s “Blackbird” while the rest of the band went out to get Mario 36 red colored M&M’s.
Blackbird will be performing at The Circle Restaurant & Bar on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 beginning at 6:00pm.
Come on out and enjoy some great live Beatles music as performed by one of the best Beatles cover bands in the Chicagoland area.
Admittance is free.
The Circle is located at 110 South Main Street, Crown Point, IN, directly across the street from the old Lake County courthouse (on the East side). They have a great dinner menu, so be sure to bring your appetite.

Blackbird will be playing at The Circle Restaurant & Bar in January. The exact date has not been set, but check back here for an update soon.
The Circle is one of downtown Crown Point’s finest eating establishments located directly across the street from the Old Lake County Courthouse.
Word around the campfire is, Ray scored 100% on drums playing “A Day in the Life” on the Expert setting in Beatles Rockband. Ray was heard saying “I’m the king” as 9 year olds watched in amazement.

We are working on getting a steady gig at Buddy & Pals Place on Summitt Street in Crown Point. We are trying for a Tuesday or Wednesday night.
Buddy & Pals is a great place with GREAT food. We hope everyone comes out and enjoys the show.
